Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What happens if I miss one of the weekly conference call sessions?
Is there a way for the student to make up the call?
A: Yes, we offer other students an opportunity to contribute to you by allowing them to share the information we covered during that session. This not only keeps you informed but it also allows them to practice their coaching and communication skills.
Q: How long does each weekly conference call last?
A: Each call lasts for one hour.
Q: What happens after the 12 to 24 weeks are over?
Is there a way for the student to continue receiving support from Mark Fournier or Ucoach University?
A: Yes, upon graduation you will be offered an opportunity to join a Life Coaching association that was created specifically for professional life coaches and Life Lift therapists. This association will provide a way for you to remain in touch with us and supported for as long as you desire.
Q: At the beginning of the training you ask us to compile a list of people who we can work with and practice our coaching on, however I’ve been told that we should never ‘coach’ our partners or children, so does this include them?
A: Coaching ‘family, friends, children and partners’ can be ‘tricky’ however at some point you can even learn how to coach them. You must however have their permission to coach them and you must be capable of setting aside your own preferences, attachments and judgments, which takes time and practice. In the mean time, we still want you to ‘practice’ with these individuals for the purpose of our training, just make sure they realize that you are only practicing and are not in any way proficient at this process.
